The specialist international beekeeping organisation
This Project was delivered in partnership with DANTAN, Denmark and ZALWEDA, Zanzibar.
The target was to train 200 beekeepers to produce honey for sale - as a means to supplement their income to reduce poverty. This Project was completed in 2014. The number of trainees exceeded the target and 343 people were helped. Many additional villagers joined the project or requested training from the trainers.
