The specialist international beekeeping organisation
The Asian Apicultural Association (AAA) is based at Tamagawa University, Japan. AAA was established in 1992 to form a network and encourage exchange of information between beekeepers and bee scientists in Asia.
The main objective of AAA is to promote the exchange of scientific and general information relating to honeybee sciences and apiculture in Asia, and to encourage international co-operation in the study of problems of common interest. AAA encourages research on the biology and management of honeybee species found in Asia by providing a common platform to exchange knowledge and information. A conference is held every two years.
AAA has moved to its new office in ApiScience Information Services (ApiSIS).
