A Bees for development event
Bees for Development's summer Bee Garden Party will take place 5-8pm on Wednesday 12 June in the gardens of Marlborough House, in London's Mall. With kind permission from the household of HM The Queen. Hosted by Martha Kearney and Bill Turnbull, the Bee Garden Party is fast becoming the social highlight of the Bee Season, attracting hundreds of people, united by their interest in bees!
This is a unique opportunity to visit the private gardens of this Royal Palace built by Sir Christopher Wren in 1710. Marlborough House is headquarters for the Commonwealth. To the south, the gardens border The Mall, while to the east is Queen Mary’s revolving summerhouse - its thatched roof is home for many solitary bees.
