Martin is a previous member of Team BfD who has maintained his ties and now advises us on social media, campaigns and public affairs matters.
After completing his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Economics and in International Relations he gained experience in Welsh and UK Parliaments, later moving to manage BfD's Uganda Honey Trade Project from 2013-2014 and was elected County Borough Councillor in May 2017.
We are supported by a large number of fantastic volunteers - without whom our team and our achievements would be much diminished. Kind people help us at events, with translations, with good advice, logistics, and in a myriad of wonderful ways. Some are based in UK, others are far away and we meet them only on Skype!
